Formation Of MCN

A proposal to establish MCN under the leadership of NCFN was submitted by Ram Prasad Shrestha.

The Holy Spirit had led us to pray and seek the counsel of pastors and church leaders within Kathmandu. Numerous meetings were held to interact and discuss the possibility of establishing MCN as an organization to join churches in a united force for missions. The working committee , comprised of different churches, para-churches and denominational heads, made the decision to officially establish MCN as a wing of NCNF on 22nd June 2001.

The Vision of MCN

To help plant at least one church in every unreached region of Nepal by the year 2020 and also to send missionaries to the Himalayan Region.

The Mission Of MCN

The purpose of Missions Commissions of Nepal is to glorify God by uniting the churches of Nepal to be one force in fulfilling the Great Commission by teaching and equipping their pastors, teachers, lay leaders and youth workers to be missionaries in Nepal and throughout the Himalayan Region (Matthew 28:19-20).
