The Missions Commission of Nepal (MCN)
is a wing of the
National Churches Fellowship of Nepal. It was established to enhance the “Great
Commission” effort of local churches and para-church organizations by
mobilizing them to reach out to the unreached areas of Nepal,
as well as other Himalayan countries such as North India,
Bhutan, Burma
and Tibet.
There remains however a lack of training and vision for
missions and evangelism within churches. As a result, churches fail to
recognize their own strength to impact their surroundings with the Gospel of
Christ.
Through the work of the Holy Spirit, the Churches in Nepal
are continuing to grow rapidly despite the anti-conversion laws and severe
persecutions meted out.
Through the work of the Holy Spirit, the churches throughout
Nepal have been
growing rapidly in strength.
MCN’s vision is to unite the efforts of churches and equip
them in mission training. Our desire is to see Nepal
and its people and surrounding nations won for Christ. Uniting churches to
receive training in missions will enable and strengthen them to realize the
impact they can make on their own communities and beyond.
